 Overview:
Shine Workshops are offered at various parenting centers around
the Bay Area. Workshops are designed for first time expectant
couples or new parents (0-6 months), but the content is relevant
for parents of young children as well. Research by John Gottman
supports that 67% of new parents experience a significant drop
in relationship satisfaction in the first year after the birth
of a child. Shine Workshops offer couples a chance to make their
transition to parenthood as smooth as possible by providing tools
for increasing relationship satisfaction, managing expectations
about having a newborn and learning about helpful resources,
all in a relaxed environment.
